Campaign Description
Description
In Naibarae, hunger is a daily reality. Many children attend school on empty stomachs, struggling to concentrate and learn. This campaign funds a comprehensive school feeding program that will provide one nutritious, locally-sourced meal per day to every student at St. Charles Lwanga School.
Your support will ensure that over 120 children receive the nourishment they need to focus, grow, and thrive in the classroom. The program will be linked to our community kitchen gardens, creating a sustainable source of fresh vegetables and promoting food security for both the school and local families.
No child should have to choose between hunger and education. With your help, we can ensure that every student has the energy to learn and the health to succeed.
Impact of This Campaign
This feeding program will directly improve school attendance, academic performance, and overall health for all students. Well-nourished children are better able to concentrate, participate, and retain knowledge. The program will also serve as an educational platform for nutrition and hygiene, while supporting local food producers and creating opportunities for parent involvement through kitchen garden management.
